William Forsythe in Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris (2006-02-07)

From 6 to 16 February 2006. New York choreographer William Forsythe presents his program of modern dance at the Palais Garnier. The visitors will be offered three original pieces — “Approximate Sonata” performed to music by Thom Willems, “The vertiginous thrill of exactitude” performed to music by Franz Schubert and “Artifact Suite”, performed to music by Johann Sebastian Bach and Eva Crossman-Hecht. William Forsythe is a multi-disciplinary artist interested in choreography. For his show he as well as made some decors, lighting and costumes. The program is organized together with the Etoiles, Premiers Danseurs and Corps de Ballet. The performance will take place in Palais Garnier - Opera National De Paris From 06-02-2006 to 16-02-2006, at 7.30pm on 6, 7, 9, 14, 15 and 16 February.
